Amber Weather Warning - Sunday 22 September 2024

Repair works to the ford

The Parish Council has been informed by Leicestershire Highways that works on the Hallaton Road Vented Ford will be ongoing from Monday 22 July 2024. Any further information on the expected duration of works will be posted when this becomes available.

Rural Crime, Medbourne 7/8 April 2024

Sometime during the hours of 2200-0500 on the night of 7/8 April a significant theft of farm equipment happened in the vicinity of Medbourne. Repairs to Packhorse Bridge - 29 March 2024

The Parish Council has just been informed by Leicestershire County Council Highways that the long awaited repairs to the packhorse bridge are due to commence on 3rd April 2024.

It is anticipated that this work will take six works to be completed.

An update on repairs to the ford is still awaited.
